How Do Matchmaking Events Work?

Whether you are a company or a research institution, you register for a matchmaking event via an online platform by submitting a short company profile and your specific cooperation interests.

An online catalogue of all participants is available before the event, making it easy to identify relevant partners in advance, send meeting requests, and schedule time-efficient one-to-one meetings during the event.

B2B meetings cover all sectors—sometimes cross-sectoral—and take place in connection with trade fairs, conferences, or industry events, either online or on site.

Matchmaking events therefore offer an efficient and targeted way to build business contacts and find international cooperation partners.

How Can You Use the Technology Database – POD?

The Partnering Opportunity Database (POD) is a comprehensive, cross-border cooperation database. It is continuously updated by more than 600 Enterprise Europe Network partners in over 60 countries with technology and cooperation offers and requests.

All cooperation profiles are published in anonymised form, and use of the database is free of charge for Enterprise Europe Network clients.

Ways to Use the Database

• Search: Research cooperation opportunities based on your criteria (e.g. country, technology, sector)
• Subscription service: Receive automatic notifications about relevant cooperation opportunities
• Profile entry: Publish your own cooperation profile (offer or request)
