The Foreign Trade Department of the Chamber of Trade and Crafts for Munich and Upper Bavaria and its team support member companies with all questions relating to international business.

• Posting of workers (notifications, A1 certificate)
• Import and export of goods (customs)
• Cooperations, partnering services
• Market entry
• Funding Programmes
• Participation in foreign trade fairs
• Setting up a branch abroad
• Questions relating to EU requirements and regulations
• Reduce obstacles in the Single Market - reporting administrative burdens to the EU with the aim of reducing bureaucracy (SME Feedback)

Within the Enterprise Europe Network, together with Bayern Handwerk International, we are the competent contact for craft companies, which provide cross-border services. We support companies in entering new foreign markets for their products and services.

Our clients
We offer our services to around 80,000 member companies that operate abroad or are planning foreign activities. We support craft companies at every stage of development - from start-ups to established family businesses with long tradition. 

How we help
Our core service is individual advice. We provide hands-on, practical support for businesses from the crafts sector on how to successfully navigate foreign markets in compliance with t applicable regulations. 

Our services include

• Information and support on cross-border provision of services, delivering of goods, VAT, trade fair participation, finding cooperation partners and funding programmes.
• Regular events such as information sessions, specialised seminars and workshops, partnering events such as brokerage events and company missions, consultation days.
• Direct access to important contact points in Germany and abroad and facilitating the dialogue with economic chambers, national authorities and customs offices in the target countries.
